Team of marketing people working in an office

A lot of people think that by hiring a marketing agency, they’ll get clever ways to accelerate their leads and sales. But the truth is there is no silver bullet in marketing and never has been. We have been in business 35+ years and have worked with more than 1,000 clients. If there was a silver bullet, we would know about it and we would be selling it.

What matters most in marketing

Successful marketing boils down to two things:

  1. Doing the steady blocking and tackling. Good marketing is persistently delivering clearly stated key messages to your target audience, as frequently and inexpensively as possible.
  2. Having a solid marketing process and the right specialists to execute on it. That’s a tall order if you’re trying to hire a team piecemeal. One or two people rarely have all the necessary marketing skills. Individuals or teams in different locations may not follow the same processes.

The solution is SAM

The only magic in marketing is having a good team, keeping your website fresh, your digital ads going, adjusting your keywords as they work/don’t work, keeping your social posts and channels going, and getting some media coverage so you have someone else saying good things about you.

It’s not sexy. It’s a tremendous amount of difficult work, and requires a lot of different skills. To that end, we developed a system called Strategically Aimed Marketing (SAM). We shared the details of this system in our award-winning Amazon best-seller, “The CEO’s Guide to Marketing.”

We also use the acronym SAM as a nickname for our talented marketing staff which is made up of publicity experts, writers, graphic designers, web technical people, strategists, etc.. You can hire SAM, our team, to work for you at a cost that’s less than hiring one employee.

SAM isn’t a quick fix. We’re not a winning lottery ticket. Instead, SAM is how you crack the code. It’s a means of having a good team consistently working on your behalf.

The way to get access to SAM, our team, is through a one-year retainer. We recommend $5,000 per month for the first three months and then reducing the retainer to $2,000 to $3000 per month depending on your budget and needs. The reason we recommend the larger monthly payment of $5,000 the first 3 months is that clients usually have more work for us to do right away.

Learn more about hiring SAM by calling us 952-697-5269 or use this form. After our first meeting, we will send you a copy of “The CEO’s Guide to Marketing” as your thank you.

Our publicists have great instincts because they all have media backgrounds. When things get hectic, it’s often Heather who cracks the first joke. “We encourage people to be a little goofy and unique. Some of the best ideas and solutions emerge because we know how to have fun,” she grins. “I may say something like, “Remember this is PR not the ER. Now, lighten up and go book a great story idea with the media!”
