Our health and nutrition PR strategies create more media opportunities

media opportunities

Our health and nutrition marketing expertise paid off again with this media interview on Minneapolis FOX-TV. I used my sports and nutrition knowledge to explain to the producer why our client’s protein powder has wide TV audience appeal beyond athletes and body builders. The result: A trusted expert mentioned our client’s product – by name – in this story about healthy summer drink makeovers. This is how more media opportunities are created, folks!

This client wanted our help reaching active moms and dads interested in weight management, good nutrition and general health. Before holistic pharmacist and author Sherry Torkos was interviewed on FOX, I supplied her with the key value points for our client’s Bodylogix natural whey protein powder. This enabled her to easily explain how this product adds good nutrition to a simple breakfast. In only a few minutes, she skillfully made this product relatable to active families. It was a strong story angle that resonated with the FOX-TV audience and with our client’s target audience. Now more soccer moms (and volleyball moms like me) know the nutritional benefits of consuming Bodylogix whey protein powder.

I love the challenge of getting clients’ products mentioned by name in the media. It’s not always easy. It’s a skill I’ve spent years developing. I’ve also dedicated years to nurturing strong relationships with my media contacts. They trust me and know that when I call, it’s worth their time to listen. I help them co-produce stories with the right angles and using the right thought leaders, such as Sherry Torkos. These are the kinds of tactics that help our clients grow their brands, and why they keep renewing their contracts with us.
