Here’s a great example of how our publicists position our clients in the media by co-producing stories. Last week, we booked a client’s story with CNN. The hook was how to safely work out in the New Year without doing any damage to your body. This is a huge topic right now; I’m sure you’ve seen the herds of people running to the gym after work to get their post-holiday bodies back in shape.
After we pitched our story to CNN, it was assigned to a producer who contacted us to arrange an interview. That was when we went into our highly effective co-producing mode. As we often do whenever we work with the national media, we pulled together our entire team of seasoned media professionals to discuss strategies. One of our greatest assets is a that we know how to take full advantage of our team’s unique blend of strengths, skills and media backgrounds. We reviewed various options to determine the best way to position our client and his key talking points. This part of our process helps us assure that our client’s key messages don’t get lost in the final story.
The story is slated to run in a couple weeks. We can’t wait to show it off. Do you want to hear how we can tailor media stories to fit your brand’s goals? Give us a call! We just got a number of new clients in this month and we are excited for more: 952-697-5269.
