What’s it like to work with Media Relations Agency?

by | Jun 7, 2022 | Advice & Tips

News sources you get when working with Media Relations Agency

It’s always energizing for us to welcome a new client to Media Relations Agency. We will cover a lot of ground in the first few weeks to ensure that your campaign is on point, and that we’re making the best use of your budget as well as our team’s capabilities. When we guarantee media coverage, as we do with our Pay Per Interview® model, we’ve got to have a good strategy in place!

Here are three things that will happen when you hire Media Relations Agency for your publicity:

  1. We’ll immediately start using our Strategically Aimed Marketing (SAM 6®) system. SAM 6, a system so well accepted that it is now the subject of an accredited marketing course, assures that we’re all clear on essential details including your vision, mission, primary value points, product points of differentiation and target audience. These details will be communicated to everyone working on your campaign.
  2. We’ll create a customized Campaign Communications Overview. This document contains all the pertinent SAM 6 information, as well as a comprehensive list of the media we will pursue on your behalf. You must approve this document (as well as the content we will pitch to the media) before your campaign begins.
  3. With our Pay Per Interview model, you’ll only pay us for placements. You aren’t paying us a monthly retainer fee for us to “try.” You’ll place money on account. We will draw against that budget each time we arrange a media story in one of your approved outlets.

I suspect you love lists as much as I do, so I’ll keep going. Here are several reasons you’re going to love working with Media Relations Agency:

  • After nearly 35 years in business, we have built an extensive, proprietary list of media contacts across the U.S. and into Canada. Every day, we have multiple media stories running somewhere in the U.S. and Canada mentioning our clients.
  • We have personal connections with reporters and producers. Our connections are so strong that media outlets sometimes contact us when they need to source content. They  know they can trust us to provide them with high quality spokespeople and research-backed materials.
  • We don’t simply email press releases or rely on wire services. We will work with the individual media outlets to develop stories that appeal to their audiences while also enabling us to communicate your product’s value points.
  • We are ISO compliant. Clients love our accountability and results, and many have been renewing their contracts with us for 10-20 years.
  • We have a passion for what we do. We are a strengths-based agency. Each of us works in an area of responsibility where we can use our God-given talents and aptitudes. That means your interactions with us are positive and upbeat. (No crabby people!)
  • We can understand and relate to your mission, service and products. Your publicity team will all be seasoned publicists. We are also consumers. We know how to look at your product from multiple perspectives.

What you get from Media Relations Agency is a team of hard-working publicists, writers and strategists who will help you earn the media coverage you deserve. We’d love the opportunity to discuss what this might look like for your business. Call us at 952-697-5269 or use this form to schedule time on our calendars.
