Product marketing is more complicated than ever. If you want your new product to rise on the ladder of fame, you must use a variety of specialized marketing skills. I’m guessing you don’t have unlimited time and budget. Hiring a fully integrated agency, with 35 years of product marketing experience, makes a lot of sense if you plan to launch a product this year.

How new products become famous

It’s rare for a new product to achieve instant fame. Establishing familiarity takes time and strategy. You’ll know you’ve achieved some level of fame when you don’t have to describe what your product does in every conversation.

Here are some things to consider:

1. Build a local following. Unless your company already has a national or international presence, the smartest use of your budget may be to start locally. Now more than ever, people love buying from companies they consider to be good neighbors. Once you start driving awareness, it’s far easier to expand your fame regionally and then nationally.

2. We can adapt your campaign without slowing its momentum. Some things are must-haves such as a well-functioning website, a good SEO strategy, and publicity/advertising outreach to pull people into your sales cycle.

You will also need flexibility. You may need a good content writer and social media specialist with far more frequency than you need a graphic artist or videographer. But when those other needs arise, you don’t want your campaign to grind to a halt while you search for the right talent and bring them up to speed. That won’t happen with us.

Companies like yours are looking for a fully integrated agency

The other day, our Digital Marketing President Jason Kocina told me about conversations he’s been having with prospective clients. “They are relieved when they find out we’ve got web designers, graphic artists, advertising specialists, publicists, content writers, SEO experts, social media specialists and marketing strategists on staff,” he said.

“They are happy that they don’t have to hire multiple agencies to get the talent they need. Even better, our staff collaborates with one another, which helps ensure everyone is on the same page. We can make the best and most efficient use of their marketing budgets.”

There are very few fully integrated agencies specializing in product marketing that have the breadth and depth of experience of Media Relations Agency. We’ve worked with thousands of companies in countless industries.

It may make the most sense for you to put money on account, and work with us to draw on it for what you need most as you launch your product in 2023.
