Are you doing everything possible to reach potential buyers?

by | Oct 1, 2021 | Advice & Tips

Reach potential buyers with 5 promotional mix channels - chart displaying each channels benefits.

Grip an object firmly with your entire hand. All five fingers contribute to your grip strength. This is a perfect metaphor for an effective marketing system. If you’re not integrating the power of all five promotional channels, you may miss out on reaching potential buyers.

The five promotional channels are: Publicity, Website, Social Media, Advertising and Personal Selling. If your competition is more visible and on point than you are, your messaging might be overlooked. Publicity is the most important because it effectively supports all of your other marketing activities.

Many agencies don’t even offer earned publicity because they can’t guarantee results. But we started our business with this most difficult promotional channel nearly 35 years ago. And we DO guarantee results with our Pay Per Interview® model.

Only 8% of marketing agencies have been around for 30-39 years. Our performance-based work ethic has made us tough. It’s made us tenacious. It’s made us thorough. It’s enabled us to stay several steps ahead of marketing trends.

It’s a big mistake not to integrate all promotional channels

Many new products don’t ever gain the traction they deserve. Others make a splash early on but then are quickly forgotten. You need a solid marketing plan to keep reminding buyers about why they need your product.

Repetition is essential in marketing. People need to hear messages at least seven times before they start to sink in. As a whole, your potential customers use all five promotional channels. You must be there as well. As important, your messaging must be consistent across all these channels so you don’t confuse people.

But here’s the fine print: Your messaging must also be carefully tailored to each channel and market. That’s a juggling act not many agencies are equipped to accomplish.

We were among the first to integrate internet marketing with publicity. Today, in addition to PR, our services include a full suite of digital marketing services – including websites, newsletters, video production and Amazon store management – as well as digital advertising and content marketing

We also have a best-selling book, “The CEO’s Guide to Marketing,” about our Strategically Aimed Marketing® Plan system. Because we’re a bigger agency, we couldn’t successfully manage hundreds of client-related tasks week after week without having this system in place.

On your own, it can be time consuming and complicated to create and implement a marketing plan that consistently targets as many of your buyers as possible.

Having one experienced team pull together all aspects of your marketing campaign is an efficient way to reach buyers and maximize your marketing budget. By applying our marketing plan system to your business, we will become very familiar with your products, your vision and what you want to communicate to potential buyers.
