by | Oct 30, 2013 | Company News

Heather Champine, Vice President of Media Production at Media Relations Agency, has been promoted to partner.

Champine has been teaching clients how to harness the power of publicity to sell products since 1997. She has experience in developing and managing hundreds of multimillion dollar marketing campaigns, and handles everything from product development, to assembling sales/distribution teams, spokesperson identification and development, and the right promotional mix to drive product sales. She has spearheaded exceptional campaigns for such clients as Great Clips, Nash Finch, AT&T, Intel, Schwab, Bausch & Lomb, 1-800 CONTACTS, Nature’s Way, Fruterom and Widex.

“Early in her career, Heather proved herself as the publicist who intuitively understands how the media thinks. Her expertise lies in marketing consumer products and services so that they are deemed newsworthy by the media,” says CEO Lonny Kocina. “She leads an entire publicist team in securing radio, TV, print and online news coverage for her clients. Heather is our strategy guru. She is a purposeful leader who can take a complex scenario and determine how best to utilize publicity to reach client goals.”

A long-time Elko New Market resident, Champine and husband Steve have two daughters and one son. In addition to her career with Media Relations, Champine serves on the board of Dakota County’s Kids ‘n Kinship, a mentoring program benefitting children in need of positive role models. She also has volunteered her time and publicity expertise for WomenVenture, ClearCause Foundation, Hope Chest for Breast Cancer, the O’Neal Hampton Wellness Foundation and other nonprofit organizations.
