Wanted: Your innovative products and services for TV, radio and newspaper stories

by | May 11, 2011 | Placement Examples

As a publicist working with Mid-America Events & Expos, reporters know they can contact me for fresh and innovative stories and interviews.

I work with all five of the popular expos developing story ideas with our marketing partners and exhibitors.  I love what I do. Exciting new marketing partners and exhibitors offer me endless opportunities with the media.

With such a wide variety of trend-setting products and services, the media always looks to our publicity team for the latest news, such as these stories, generated from recent expos:

One of Mid-America’s newer expos, the Girlfriends Expo & Get Away held each November, received a great event review from Pioneer Press reporter and shopping guru,  Ali Kaplan, on her alishops.com website.

This year’s Body Mind Life Expo generated big media for featured presenter and marketing partner, O’Neal Hampton. O’Neal was a Biggest Loser contestant and owns Fitness North. His live-in weight loss and fitness program, was showcased at the Expo and featured in four TV news segments including WCCO-TV, KARE and KMSP FOX.  Check out the a few segments below:

KARE News @ 4  Pat Evans and Diana Pierce

During his appearance on KARE News @ 4, O’Neal served up what he calls “the truth about burgers, fries, snacks and decadent desserts.” And he offered tips for getting out there even in 20-degree weather.

Mid-America Events & Expos also presents three big 50+ PrimeTime Living Expos. The Spring expo, held last month at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, is home to the annual Ms. Minnesota Senior Pageant. This year, the pageant drew reporters from the Star Tribune and Rochester Post Bulletin.

The Rochester Post Bulletin featured three large stories with photos from the expo and pageant. Sharing the spotlight in this coverage was our marketing partner: Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.

I look forward to Mid-America Events & Expo’s newest addition to its popular line up, the Summer  50+ PrimeTime Living Expo held July 26-27 at Jackpot Junction. It’s exciting to contact the media with new stories around these events. If you want me to talk with reporters about your company, you must first be part of the action by becoming a partner in our marketing campaign.
