Who will be the next Ms. Minnesota Senior Queen? The road to Ms. Senior America begins this April

by | Dec 9, 2010 | Advice & Tips

Another American turns 55 every 8 seconds. By 2030 there will be over 107 million Americans aged 55 and older. The need for services directed to the fast growing senior market is increasing every day. As a result, this rapidly expanding demographic has spawned many niche industries, entertainment and interests, including the Ms. Senior Minnesota Pageant and the popular Seniors Spring Show where the pageant takes place.

This “ageless beauty” state pageant highlights the achievements and vitality of seniors. The winner will go on to compete in the National Ms. Senior American Pageant in October 2011.

A recent Time Magazine article highlighted the popular national pageant that is now in its 38th year.

This savvy age group is re-writing the rules about growing older. Vibrate and healthy, they are discovering how fulfilling these next decades can be. They want to have some fun, and stay both active and informed.

The auditorium is always packed for this pageant because it makes everyone feel good. The Ms. Minnesota Senior America Pageant is helping to re-define society’s image of older Americans, paying tribute to contestants for their achievements and volunteerism.

The Senior Spring Show is for people who fully embrace this ‘prime time’ of their lives, and who are looking for new ways to renew and re-energize. The show connects these pioneers—those who are redefining how we respond to growing older – with a rapidly expanding list of  products, services and healthcare information.  This year, we’re expecting thousands of people to attend.
