Friends, fashion, fun and fabulous face-to-face marketing shop-ortunities; This year’s Girlfriends Expo & Getaway received rave reviews

by | Nov 30, 2010 | Advice & Tips

Girlfriend getaways are relaxing with your friends and catching up on their lives as you have a holiday makeover, shop for unique holiday gifts together, or  take in a fashion show with the latest glitz and glamor the season.

This year’s Girlfriends Expo & Getaway held November 19-20 at Treasure Island Resort & Casino was the perfect girlfriends retreat. Girlfriends took time away from the daily grind to reconnect, work on the holiday shopping list, see the latest fashions from industry leader, Chadwicks and check out hot new beauty trends to get runway ready.
With shopping at more than 100 exhibitors, there was something for everyone including everything for a fabulous makeover. From teeth whitening and permanent makeup to jewelry, purses and clothing, women got their holiday glitz on, and were camera-ready for those holiday family photos.

Thousands of eager shoppers also strolled this popular Expo for unique treasures, gifts and services. An eager audience watched as Chadwicks presented the latest fashion trends.  Chadwicks runway models captured the spotlight with everything from business casual to fun and flirty.

Chadwicks’ generous donation program also offered the ladies an opportunity to support a wonderful cause. Women brought in gently used business suits and coats to donate to Hope Chest for Breast Cancer. In return, they received as much as $30 off a purchase of great clothing styles and holiday gift items at Chadwicks booths.

Other seminars included such diverse topics as relationship advice to reducing chemicals in your home. The ladies also listened intently to the overhead announcements of drawing winners throughout the event.

Treasure Island Hotel & Casino hosted the Expo and offered  The “Girlfriends Weekend” hotel package that included two admission tickets to the Girlfriends Expo & Getaway, a Saturday morning champagne brunch and four 1/2 price tickets for drinks in the Parlay Lounge.

The Girlfriends Expo & Getaway was the perfect place for “the girls” to have a blast! The night didn’t end after the expo closed for the night.  Women hit the lounge for live music and dancing, found a hot slot, socialized with your friends at the blackjack and poker tables, challenged friends to a game at the new state-of-the-art bowling alley, or head to the tropical indoor pool where they relaxed in the hot tub and prepared for the next day of shopping.
The Girlfriends Expo & Getaway had all the makings of a perfect weekend. Check out the fun, fashion and fabulous shopping with the recap, and then mark your calendars for next year’s Expo, November 18-19, 2011. Marketing partnerships are available and booth sales for next year’s expo are already brisk.
