Community Impact Awards

It was an honor for our agency to be recognized at the 2016 Community Impact Awards. Minnesota Business magazine presents these awards to recognize people, initiatives and organizations that make a difference in Minnesota communities. We were delighted to be one of three finalists in the Creative Campaign category. Thank you to Sheryl Hill of ClearCause Foundation for nominating us. And congratulations to Little & Company for taking top honors in this category.

Winners were announced at a gala reception in Minneapolis last night. It was wonderful to catch up with colleagues and celebrate their contributions to the community. I love to learn how people use their unique talents to achieve positive results.

Events like this remind us how important it is to give back. Focusing our energies on others makes life more fulfilling. It also helps us leave a legacy. When we help others, our lives are well spent.

Our agency conducts marketing campaigns for numerous nonprofit organizations with ties to the Twin Cities. Among them are ClearCause Foundation, Kids ‘n Kinship, Hands of Freedom, Widow’s Hope, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-MN) and Women Presidents Organization (WPO). These campaigns include arranging for TV, print, radio and digital media coverage as well as providing assistance with web and digital marketing, and content creation.

It benefits our team to provide this community service. Whether it’s through writing, graphic design, leadership or publicity, our team members enjoy being able to help organizations tell their stories. I see our staff get a spring in their step when they provide pro bono work. It’s an opportunity that gives us joy.

Sometimes we help companies promote their products. Sometimes we help nonprofits raise awareness for their causes. Either way, serving others adds great meaning to our lives. We have been richly blessed and we want to pass this blessing along. Whether we’re working with corporations or nonprofits, we’re glad to help clients tell their stories.
