Checkerboard president discusses product marketing trends on CBS radio

by | Jul 17, 2015 | Company News

Checkerboard President Jason Kocina recently took a fun approach to demonstrating current product marketing trends. Appearing on Minneapolis’ WCCO AM radio, he described how marketing using smartphone technology is changing one of our most traditional pastimes.

Some technology companies just build websites. That just requires knowing the technological mechanics. Checkerboard combines very strong marketing expertise with state-of-the-art technological knowledge. As a result, Checkerboard is uniquely qualified to guide clients to make smarter digital marketing decisions that will have a stronger impact on sales.

Using summer barbecues as an example, Jason described how companies are using apps and QR codes to market to receptive consumers. From beer brand recommendations to BBQ recipes, he reviewed apps that are literally putting company’s brand names into the hands of their target audiences.

Your website is the foundation for all of your digital marketing. If yours is not yet optimized for smartphones, or automatically connected to share your story and media-grade content through social media streams, those are good places to start making immediate improvements.

Checkerboard uses industry-standard tools to build websites and make site upgrades. They also monitor marketing trends because they understand the essential role that a well-functioning website can play in driving product sales.
